The document provides for the development of a program of activities called ‘Activities after High-Performance Sport’ aimed at phased attraction of well-known athletes of Uzbekistan to active participation in the management of the sphere of physical culture and sports, public and sports work.
Athletes who have achieved high results in prestigious international sports competitions will receive a lifetime monthly payment, and their coaches - a one-time cash reward. At the same time lifetime payment to winners and prize-winners of Olympic and Paralympic games and one-time money rewards to their trainers are exempt from the tax on incomes of physical persons.
From the 2018 - 2019 academic year, the Uzbek State Institute of Physical Culture plans to open a correspondence department. This will allow athletes to receive education without interruption from training and competitive activities, to increase their knowledge in the field of physical culture and sports and in the future to join the ranks of qualified trainers.
The winners and prize-winners of the Olympic and Paralympic Games are given the right once a year at a convenient time for them to receive a course of rehabilitation in health resorts.
The Resolution provides for the organization in the Center of scientific and methodological support, retraining and advanced training of specialists in physical culture and sports of three- and six-month special training courses so that the winners and prize winners of the Olympic and Asian Games, World and Asian championships, prestigious sports competitions in Uzbekistan can perform coaching practice, and also the introduction of the procedure for issuing permits to well-known athletes completed training courses to engage in coaching activities on preferential terms.
