The development of this long-awaited law is envisaged at once by two programs: the State Program for the Implementation of the Strategy of Action for the five priority development directions of the Republic of Uzbekistan in 2017-2021 in the "Year of Dialogue with the People and Human Interests" and the Program for Elaborating and Submitting to the Legislative Chamber of the Oliy Majlis of the Republic of Uzbekistan Draft laws in 2017 year.
Development of the draft law is aimed at the legal regulation of transplantation of human organs and tissues, the development of transplantology as a clinical discipline.
Adoption of the law will create a legal basis for the transplantation of human organs and tissues.
By the way, to date, the lack of such a regulatory act is a deterrent to the development of health care in Uzbekistan and the reason that people go to be treated abroad. At the same time, domestic doctors are ready to start a number of such operations today, positive results in this direction were obtained in the framework of their scientific activities.
The group of developers of the law will include specialists from the Ministry of Health, the Ministry of Internal Affairs, the Ministry of Justice, as well as specialists from other ministries and departments.
