Online business registration launched in Uzbekistan

Starting from April 2017, business registration in Uzbekistan is carried out online within 30 minutes from the date of application. It should be noted that the introduction of the new system has reduced the number of submitted documents for the registration of legal entities from 6 to 2, for individual entrepreneur - from 7 to 1.

The new system was developed by the Ministry for the Development of Information Technologies and Communications, the Ministry of Justice, the Ministry of Economy, the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of Uzbekistan, the State Tax Committee, the State Statistics Committee, the Central Bank, the Electronic Government Center, and with the assistance of the United Nations Development Program.

The main advantages of this system is that in real time you can open your business, both for entities with the formation of a legal entity, and for individual entrepreneurs without the formation of a legal entity. You can select a company name in seconds. Also, the automated system allows you to get the system-generated constituent documents, pay the state fee for registration and get a certificate in real time.

It should be noted that this system includes the identification of users through the "OneID" (Unified Identification System), which completely identifies your personal data (passport, Individual Tax Number, electronic digital signature, etc.), and only after your confirmation it can register your business. It is important to note that registration on the site is a single identification platform that is being introduced into "e-government". The new system provides an opportunity to register a business in any organizational and legal forms provided for in the Decree of the Cabinet of Ministers №66, these are individual entrepreneurs, LLCs, family enterprises, etc.

One of the innovations of the created system is the benefits for payment. If you register a business in real time on your own, then you pay 50% of the amount from the assigned cost. Payment is made through banks, but in addition, online payment is installed through the payment system, which makes it possible to save you time.

The most important thing is that you step through the online registry in a government database. Certificates are issued together with QR-code, which makes it possible to verify the validity, status and all data of the business entity. It should remind that all operating subjects of business have the right to receive the certificate of a new sample.

All stages during the registration are maximally automated from obtaining information about the applicant, selecting the organizational and legal form, the company name before obtaining the certificate. It is important to note that when selecting an activity type, a new classifier of the State Statistics Committee is used.

The difference of the system is that if more than one founder participates in the creation of a legal entity, each founder confirms himself that he agrees to act as the founder of the registered subject of entrepreneurship. In this case, each founder is sent an electronic confirmation message, after which the founder gives his consent.

It is very important that this system is fully integrated into the e-government system, which makes it possible to exchange data with other information systems of various organizations. For example, when opening a bank account, banks independently gain access to information about the business entity, and all the necessary information is automatically sent to the State Tax Committee, the State Statistics Committee for making state registration.
