Short-term retraining courses for teachers have been completed in Tashkent. They will be involved in the organization of the educational process in the 10th grades of general education schools.
On August 2, the President Shavkat Mirziyoyev, chaired a video conference devoted to the introduction of 11-year secondary education, the strengthening of the integration of secondary schools and secondary special vocational educational institutions, the cardinal reform of the system of secondary special, vocational education. A number of important tasks were assigned to the sphere specialists.
In the process of transformations in the system of general secondary education, special attention is given to the formation of students’ skills of practical application of the acquired knowledge. On the basis of this very principle, updated state educational standards, curricula and plans, educational literature are being developed today.
“The rapid transformations taking place in our country are also reflected in the education system,” says Bahodir Khaydarov, an associate professor at Tashkent Institute of Retraining and Advanced Training of Public Education Workers. “On the initiative of our President and on the basis of a comprehensive study of the opinions and proposals of the general public, parents and students, representatives of the education sector, the 10th and 11th grades are organized in general schools. Over the past short time, work has been carried out to improve educational, regulatory, methodological documents.”
