Interest in sports in Japan is tremendous all over the world. This is due to the fact that in 2020, Tokyo will host the Olympic Games. In this regard, Japan is getting prepared in all sports. So the exhibition is part of this work.
The exhibition displays 60 works of this famous Japanese photographer.
A representative of the Japan Camera Industry Institute, Hiroshi Yano, speaking at the opening of the exhibition, noted that this was the 7th photo exhibition of Japanese photography in Tashkent. Hiroshi Yano stressed that the organizers tried to select photos that could cause interest in Uzbekistan. For example, the public can see a photo of a player from Uzbekistan, a member of the Japanese professional football league, Fozil Musayev.
The author of the photographs Akito Mizutani is a professional artist who dedicated all his life to this work.
In 1965 he graduated from the Tokyo College of Photography. Currently he works as a professional freelancer photographer in alpine skiing and sports, conducts classes in a club for sports photography, teaches young people the technique of photography. At the same time he works as President of the Japan Sports Press Association. He is a member of the Japan Photographers Association, a member of the Japan Photography Association, and a member of the International Sports Press Association.
